Sheila Kerr

Sheila Kerr M.A. Cert. Ed. A.L.C.M. has taught the Ulster College of Music Saturday morning Junior and Recorder Classes for many years. Her gentle, encouraging but thorough methods have given many of the younger students their first experience of studying an instrument. She has 29 years of experience working as a professional classroom teacher, much of that time spent as the School’s Music Co-Ordinator.

Each year she gains new inspiration and updated skills from annual returns to play and study alongside recorder specialists at Recorder Summer Schools in England. Sheila also has an Acting Diploma and plays violin in the Studio Symphony Orchestra.
