The Ulster College of Music offers a series of Junior Music Classes that provide a solid foundation in music education. To be eligible to join these classes your child must be in P1, P2 or P3. Older children may start instrumental tuition. Please contact the college for further details.
There are currently three intakes of students to the Junior Classes each year (September, January and after Easter) and the classes take place on Saturdays. After progressing through the Junior Classes your child will be eligible to begin his/her main instrument. The College offers tuition in piano, voice, orchestral and theory.

The Junior Classes are taken by Ms Sheila Kerr and Mrs Claire Phillips. Sheila has a warmth and enthusiasm for music has made the Classes a success over the last ten years. Ms Kerr has 29 years experience working as a Primary School Teacher and Music Co-Ordinator, and regularly travels to England to take part in Recorder Summer Schools. Claire is also our GCSE Tutor as well as Teaching Violin and Piano.
